Freehand Los Angeles: what do users think?

Naveen Allin: This place was amazing. Will definitely come back. Affordable. Has a "vibe". I found the shared rooms to be clean and comfortable. The customer service was kind and efficient. The downstairs coffee and breakfast was amazing. The lobby was relaxing, spacious, cozy, and classy. The evening live music was intriguing. The Saturday house music pool party on the roof was mind blowing with the LA skyline around me. It felt like a new discovery was waiting for me every time I returned to the hostel.THEN!John and the security team very kindly mailed me an item I left there with ease and understanding. 10/10.

Wilford Karsten: There were many amenities in the hotel itself with a restaurant, coffee shop, bar, and a rooftop bar with a pool! It can be a little loud at night if you’re on the street side but, you are in a major city after all.

Chit Min Swe Tin: I had a good experience staying there. Especially because I had a very ethical roommates and helpful staffs. The room and the bathroom was very clean. Good quality mattress. Nice view on the rooftop. My only issue was that all electrical outlets in the room were loose and they didn’t charge my devices properly. Other than that, very good experience!

Arul Arul: Highly recommend it thanks

Carlos Donato: Charming location with a bar across the hall. Staff was accommodating and professional.Noteworthy details: Historic Hotel

Katherine Dal Chele: Valet are rude and pushy. Esp. Joe or Joel. Desk staff is curt. Rooms are hit or miss, the hotel is 100 years old, but the rooms dont need to look like it. False advertising on website, I was supposed to get breakfast with my room and I didn't.Walkability: Lots to do nearbyNoteworthy details: Gorgeous hotel full of history.

Bob Gosford: Great to come back to this hotel that still feels like an old friend left too long between visits. An ideal location to access all that DTLA has to offer and staff offer excellent help and advice.I particularly enjoyed indulging in a nightly Black Dahlia cocktail at the Gallery Bar.Thanks to Victor, Romulus and Mr Wu for keeping me entertained and happy!

Jimmy Cousin: Hello, I am my wife we stayed 2 weeks at the Hoxton Hotel it was great from the welcome to the service the employees are super nice and attentive to the slightest question or request I recommend this hotel to everyone with it being 2 excellent restaurants and are a fabulous cocktail bar with a view of the building. Hotel Figueroa - In the Unbound Collection by Hyatt: what do users think?

Cindy Cheong: . I can handle it and it’s not deal breaker for me. Bed was comfortable. Slept well. There’s a bar and seating area for food inside the hotel. We didn’t eat there. I took a look at it. It looks amazing. The atmosphere is great. The only downside about staying in downtown. There isn’t much to do around this area

Kevin Huynh: The location is extremely close to the convention venues and many other convenient locations/food areas. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was one issue that did end up getting resolved during our stay. The previous tenant of the room who checked out apparently tripped the automatic smoke detection system they had in place and it ended up charging us as the next tenants. We did have to end plans a bit early to go back and talk to staff but they ended up resolving this issue within minutes and made sure that I received a copy of the reversal of the charge.I can't really fault the staff or the hotel for putting measures into place for detecting people breaking smoking policies but I do warn that things can slip through the cracks and to just talk with the staff members in a calm manner.I still enjoyed my experience of staying at the hotel no matter.Nearby activities: Convention venues nearbyFood & drinks: Fast food and quality restaurants available nearby

911eVoX: with 800 sq ft place in DTLA. It included a mini bar, and recovery equipment coming in very useful after a long run. I experienced excellent reception from the staff on a busy night with a Lakers game nearby. The food was okay at the breakfast restaurant in the morning, but there are so many options in the vicinity that would be worth exploring. I am a solo traveler, but felt right at home staying on the 12th floor. Gym was okay, but there was plenty of running trails around that allowed me to get out of the hotel and get some activity in. I usually stay at the Intercontinental or Ritz in town, but I believe I will be staying here going forward. Excellent service!

Jason C: Went with Hotel Figueroa since it was close to the Union Station as I needed to catch Amtrak for the second part of my travel. Booked the hotel via American Express, so got some additional perks. When I checked in, got upgraded to Junior Suite and $100 food and beverage credit, which I used at the hotel bar.The room was large, bed was comfortable, the sofa was very soft when you sit, it sinks in lol. Since it's close to downtown, be careful when you explore the area, while there are lot of homeless people around, they won't bother you, but still be mindful when you walk around. There's also lot of food trucks around the hotel, so you have few food options. Overall, had a great 3 nights, the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Rae Mendes: , charming and awesome history. Walk in shower with pebble floors and spacious counter space was wonderful! Every worker from the door guy, front desk, security, waiter, to my awesome housekeeper had great customer service. Kudos to your Management team. The coffee bar in the mornings is a huge plus too!Hallways are a bit creepy, coffin shaped pool

InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?

Katrina Samen: The Intercontinental downtown is a huge, buzzy, well maintained hotel, and I enjoyed my stay. The staff were very helpful and pleasant, especially assisting guests to navigate the very confusing elevator system to check in and leave/enter the building. Better wayfinding signage is needed. But I did appreciate the china service set for my room service breakfast, not plastic, as in other hotels. The US just needs better coffee overall!Rooms: As an IHG member, I was upgraded to an amazing room with a stunning view.

Richard: There is a lot to like about the hotel. If you're going to stay downtown, it's very conveniently located and very central. Also, the views? Good luck beating the panoramic views of the city anywhere else. The gym is tremendous both in size and offerings. Probably the best gym I've seen at any hotel. Very diverse equipment and they have a real squat rack, lift platform and bench press racks. An extreme rarity for most hotels.I was also impressed that the hotel uses Breydo products, which are fantastic.I did have an issue during my stay, but no hotel is immune from this happening though. It's how the hotel responds and I can confidently say, this hotel is first class. I didn't expect anything but the hotel went way above and beyond to make it right. So in the oft chance you have a problem, this hotel does a very good job here. My dealings with the staff were all top notch. Maria at the front desk was wonderful at check-in as was Franz in the front office.I definitely look forward to returning next time I'm in town and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Jaspal Singh: April 2024 5*Stayed for 4 nights at this place and it is just amazing property. You get one of the best view of Los Angeles. You can view mountain and the 360 degree view of while city.Rooms are very nice and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. I wish American hotel start putting international plug. Toilet are clean and spacious.Hotel lobby is located at 70 floor. You need to go to lobby every time you want to go to your room. It is maze to find the elevator. However, there are multiple elevators so you don’t wait for more than 1 mins.Hotel is fully accessible and has cafeteria and bar. There are meeting rooms for conference and business meetings. Staff is very courteous and helpful.Rooms: Very niceNearby activities: Shopping streetWalkability: Train station is opposite the street

M.d. Washington: A Luxurious Oasis in the Heart of Downtown LANestled in the vibrant heart of downtown Los Angeles, the InterContinental Hotel offers a truly remarkable experience that seamlessly blends luxury and convenience. From the moment you arrive, the top-notch customer service sets the tone, with attentive doormen and staff members escorting you to the elevators, ensuring a warm and personalized welcome. While the check-in process might seem a bit unconventional, as it's not located on the ground floor, it's a small hurdle that's quickly overshadowed by the hotel's many outstanding features. The elevators, although slightly confusing at first, become easier to navigate once you get accustomed to the system.Once you step into your room, you'll be greeted by a spacious and well-appointed sanctuary that exudes comfort and elegance. The accommodations are thoughtfully designed, offering all the amenities you could desire, ensuring a truly relaxing and indulgent stay. But the InterContinental Downtown LA is more than just a place to rest your head. If you're in the mood for a casual atmosphere, the cozy bar area beckons with its inviting ambiance and ample seating, complete with multiple TVs for your entertainment. One of the standout features of this hotel for me was the coffee area on the lower level, providing a convenient spot to fuel up on your favorite caffeinated beverage throughout the day.I was in awe, and for sure will return! It’s no wonder why this hotel continues to be a favorite among me and many discerning travelers. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, the InterContinental Downtown LA promises to make your stay truly unforgettable. As always..if it’s great..we be at it!

Ethan Stone: Incredible views! Nice pool as well.

Raphael Alfred: Not often I have the opportunity to stay in a hotel like this one. Found it to be very nice and welcoming. Staff incredibly nice and helpful. Lobby is on top of building - 70th floor with guest rooms on floors below. Cannot access guest rooms without going first to the lobby on 70. Great views of the city!Rooms: Clean, quiet and comfortableSafety: Great security presenceWalkability: Metro station is across the street and walki g distance to LA Live, Convention Center and Crypto Arena.Food & drinks: Food is so so for price paid

The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles: what do users think?

Gerald Balbalec: Used to be great during the 1980s, 1990s and up until 2015. Nowadays the hotel guests that have stayed there make the hotel look bad. Nowadays, some of the hotel guests are mostly thuggish, criminals or wannabes disrespecting hotel staff, always complaining to get anything FREE and continue to make themselves think they can have anything their way. "Disrespectful degenerates need to show some class, respect and dignity for themselves!" I commend the hotel staff for putting up with these types of guests. As for the rooms and service from hotel staff, I have no problems with since they are respectful and have done a decent job despite being understaffed during the COVID-19 pandemic and at present. Update: 4 Stars for now until the majority of the disrespectful type of people visiting or staying are no longer or discouraged to stay and or visit. If and when the hotel rates starts to increase due to inflation. Hopefully it happens sooner than later. By the way, a lot of hotels in the Los Angeles area are being affected by the same type of degenerates. I also forgot to mention the Valet parking is currently at $49 per day with limited parking spaces and so far, not enough employees in that department to deal with so many vehicles, rude people before or when the "GARAGE IS FULL." Once overcapacity happens,, hotel guests and visitors will be waiting to get inside for at least 1 or 2 hours from the garage entrance and by then you will be denied parking because THE GARAGE REALLY IS FULL. Plus it takes even longer to get any vehicle out. Once everything goes back to some type of normalcy, the star rating will go up in the near future.

Turner Binkley: Absolutely love this place! One of my favorite places to stay when working in LA. Need to update the TV system in the rooms to the Marriott standard please!Rooms: Need an overall update. TV system needs an upgrade big time

Luis Carmona: The Westin Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles offers spacious and pristine rooms, though the furniture may appear a bit dated, it serves its purpose well. The iconic glass elevators provide a unique and enjoyable experience, complementing the stunning city views. The staff is welcoming and accommodating, adding to the overall positive stay experience.

Dr. Cristal: The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites in Los Angeles is a fantastic hotel that I had the pleasure of staying at recently. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown LA and offers a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The lobby is beautifully designed with a central bar and several seating areas, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day.My room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.Overall, I highly recommend the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in downtown LA. The hotel's excellent amenities, comfortable rooms, and convenient location make it the perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers.Rooms: My room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.Food & drinks: The food and drinks here were really delicious and authentic in taste.

Gered K: The rustle of whispering crickets roared in crescendo as we approached the precipice. Overwatch from the entrance we see the sound wasn't crickets but the small warbled of a cloverleaf mantle of burbling fountains of crystal clear water. The first view was amazing, the lobby and open courtyard and 24 hour food selections are awesome. They had booked our room though and the "deluxe" room they replaced it with was staring straight at the outside elevator. The elevator ride was fun, but it was so strange to see your room on the 11th floor before you ever enter it.Beds are nice and pillows are variable firmness which allows one to mix and match to achieve the level of comfort home may provide. Both nights here were interrupted by extremely loud talking followed by very loud music. But the first time stopped by itself and the second time a security guard fixed the problem extremely fast. All in all 4 stars is fairSorry this review isn't as funny my others. I was poetic when I'm this tiredGoodnight

mia robinson: There is no level of unfit and can't be of unsatisfying exposer. As far as I am concerned elite at its most highest performance of absolute perfection with all the preparations to prevent any poor performanceRooms: Top perfection and clean as in the day it opened 💞

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Los Angeles Downtown: what do users think?

Dr. Cristal: I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Los Angeles Downtown and I was impressed with the spacious rooms and tranquil garden area. The hotel has a business-like atmosphere and is located in a somewhat undesirable part of downtown, but it's well-maintained and has a friendly staff. The rooms are modern and comfortable, with nice touches like a mini-fridge and coffee maker. The bathrooms are clean and have good water pressure. The hotel doesn't have a pool or spa, which was a bit disappointing, but it does offer a fitness center and business center. The location is convenient for exploring downtown LA, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for business travelers or anyone looking for a comfortable stay in downtown LA.Rooms: The rooms are modern and comfortable, with nice touches like a mini-fridge and coffee maker.Food & drinks: The food and drinks here were really delicious and authentic in taste.

Jolie Sheffer: , but that is more than outweighed by the cleanliness, convenience, and service.

William Allen: My room was tastefully decorated and surprisingly spacious for a downtown venue. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern and spotless. The room faced the rear of the venue overlooking a parking lot and some of the downtown skyline, but it was thankfully quiet, which was most important to me. There were also excellent dine-in and cafe food options on-site.I found the Miyako an incredible value given its location and the consistently high level of service. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again on my next visit to LA and highly recommend it!Rooms: Very nice room

Benoît: Stayed there for my birthday and wasn't disappointed. Was great with a hapoy birthday, a birthday card, a birthday cake and champagne! Thank you to the team!Room was gigantic, bed was perfect with perfect pillows of various firmness.Staff is really nice.Only weird thing is the use of a transfer elevator which is a bit annoying.I had a great experience here and would highly recommend staying there.

Kunwar Vir DMD, MS: . The maid service was prompt & good. We had a broken fridge so they brought one up. The shower head is in an awkward position & you will get drenched immediately when you turn it on. Our reservation on the app said that we had access to club lounge, but we were firmly denied it. In Los Angeles, you should also have more vegetarian options in your restaurants.

Tanuomaaleu Ah You: Great place to relax. Very Busy on Laker Game day but the service was not compromised. The Fennel Chicken salad needed more champagne vinaigrette. The ambiance is gorgeous and relaxing.Nearby activities: LA live is next door with tons of eateries. And you have Regal Cinemas across the street for a movie night.Walkability: Conveniently located on Olympic and Figueroa in Downtown LA and just outside of Korea town.

ahimsasunshine: Amazing DTLA spot. Super hip and artsy, high tech. Fantastic service. Would go again!!Safety: Neighborhood is fine in the day, and not bad at night. There are some interesting people around but they seem to leave you alone so no worries.

Fernanda Vogt: We stayed at the hotel for 4 days. Very good, the rooms are small by US standards, but they are super comfortable and well thought out in everything regarding furniture and technology. I strongly recommend that you make a reservation with breakfast included as it is well worth it.About breakfast: For us Brazilians who have a weak currency, it made all the difference that the coffee cost $20.00 for the couple on reservation. Everything was delicious and had vegan and lactose-free options, we could order cafeteria-style coffee because they had a baristo. Don't go expecting the Brazilian breakfast, but it was undoubtedly very tasty and they even served sashimi. The coffee was definitely the highlight of our stay.Location: I don't recommend the city in general for female travelers alone, go at least with a friend because in Downtown, there are many homeless people in several places in the city who are crazy about drug use. In the streets around the hotel there were no stalls with homeless people like in other parts, but at night we chose not to go out to enjoy the city. But it is undoubtedly a good location as it is close to tourist attractions such as museums and very close to metro stations. The rooms were well cleaned, everything smelled good. There was shampoo, conditioner, soap, body cream, hairdryer.Note: take your bottle because there is iced and sparkling water 24 hours a day, we discovered a microwave on the last day hehe and coffee is also free.

Chilly Vanilly: Positive: The hotel is very clean and modern, the staff is very nice, quick self check-in and self check-out, the bed and shower are very large.Negative: Unfortunately there is no coffee machine in the room, the location is a bit bad as there are a lot of homeless people nearby.

Adreena Angela: and the last bookshop, so great for nipping out.Rooms: Very small, but cosyNearby activities: Lots to do in the area- close to Perch, Last Bookshop and Grand Central market. Lots in walking distanceFood & drinks: $20 simple buffet breakfast and a bar

Julio Lopez: Great Atmosphere, Great Staff, Super Comfortable Bed. Within walking distance to the best Gay Bars in DTLA.They also have a great breakfast offering!Rooms: Modern rooms that are perfectly sized for the single traveler.Walkability: At the Heart of DTLA. Everything is close by.Food & drinks: Breakfast Buffet is delicious and has a great spread.

Lexi & Keegan: but had more than what we needed. We loved that the room was controlled via an iPad in the room - making the lights, LED colours, blinds, heating and TV very accessible and easy to use. The bed was huge, really comfy and clean. They had a safe and massive storage under the bed, as well as a stool and chair to sit on as well. We were surprised and happy to have a fridge as well!Food & drinks: Highly recommend going to the bar downstairs - the staff are lovely and interactive with customers. They had a wide range of drinks and it was a lovely, relaxed vibe. Great wifi and power points at most of the seats as well. The coffee made there was a great start to our mornings too.

Torrancejane: Location is great. Right downtown. Walk everywhere. Public transportation is super easy. The rooms are small but perfect for a solo traveler or couple. Everything in the room is mostly connected to an iPad. You control the tv, lights and curtains by it. Very cool. The lobby is beautiful and has lots of seating. The only thing I didn’t like and it could have just been my room is the smell of the bathrooms at times would waft into my room, or through my bathroom? The smell doesn’t last but it is gross. The staff on the other hand was outstanding. So nice and everyone seemed to actually want to be there. Food and drinks are decent as well.Nearby activities: The broad museum, angels flight,Food & drinks: Grand central eatery, white elephant Thai

N M: The best buffet breakfast I’ve had in the US as a European and I’ve stayed in over 100 hotels.

Otieno Okatch: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Bel-Air. My wife’s birthday was the occasion and a subtle mention by me during the spa reservation resulted in so many birthday surprises. From the gorgeous and delicious edible display in the room to the lovely cake at dinner. The Bel Air helped me spoil my wife the 5-star way and it very appreciated. The property of course is beautiful but the team are clearly exceptional as well.Rooms: We stayed in a pool suite and everything about the space is exceptional. It’s so comfortable and posh. Great space.Noteworthy details: The property is not built like a hotel. There are numerous lushly manicured paths and walkways around the over 12 acre property.

Vanessa Vilchez: Sunday morning are the best for BrunchThe coffee, orange juice 🍊 is simple delicious and elegant.Rooms: Are old, with a touch of modern. Simple lovable.Food & drinks: Delicious!

Haris Khan: My stay at Hotel Bel Air was not just luxurious; it epitomized elite hospitality. It's a rare pleasure to encounter service that not only understands but anticipates the refined tastes of its guests. The attention to detail and intuitive service I experienced didn't just meet my expectations; they redefined the standards by which I judge all hospitality experiences. From the front desk to restaurant dining, in-room dining, and housekeeping, the level of elegance and sophistication was unparalleled.

Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza: what do users think?

marie lopez: From the moment we pulled up in front of the hotel, the hotel staff was welcoming, friendly, professional, and helpful. Valet, Doorman, Reception/Check-in staff all greeted us and answered all of our questions. The hotel itself and the room was very clean. The room was very roomy, plenty of space. The bathroom was large with a separate bath tub and also a shower stall. Water pressure was good, and the water stayed hot throughout our showers. The views of downtown LA were beautiful. Plenty of outdoor places to walk through and enjoy. Plenty of places to take beautiful pictures. The area is safe and clean. Plenty of places to dine or enjoy a few drinks. I really appreciated the extra security features, although you will always need your room key handy to use the elevators or to come back into the hotel from the outside court area on the second floor. Family friendly hotel with an outdoor giant chess board, corn hole, giant connect four games. The Angel Flight Trolly will take you down to more restaurants and more sightseeing areas. I highly recommend Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza.

Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?

Monica S: I absolutely loved the location of this IHG hotel - HOTEL INDIGO LOS ANGELES.It's modern and upgraded, and the staff was exceptional, especially the managers who graciously upgraded my room.My only complaint would be regarding housekeeping. Despite requesting a late check-out, there were three separate occasions within the window where staff knocked on my door. Additionally, cups left in the hallway from the bar downstairs were not picked up during my two-day stay, which was a bit annoying. However, overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Kevin Paterson: Really nice hotel. They even have a Tesla charging station in their garage but it is only done by valet. This is one of the fanciest hotels I've stayed in. The room was nice and so was the bathroom. However, the only thing that was horrible is the placement of the armoire. It is so big it blocks the view of the TV from the person sleeping in one of the two queen beds. Bad design. I did love the lobby and the hats that were on showcase. There is a story behind them, so next time you visit all the person at the desk about them.Safety: Key required to operate the elevator

Amy Cross: This past stay was my second time at this hotel in the last month. This time I had the pleasure of working with front desk manager Lawrence Taylor who was very kind, accommodating and friendly! Even when it’s absolutely slammed up front he makes sure to give his full attention to helping with your needs. There are not enough nice things to be said about him!The rooms are always very clean and stocked up on supplies. There are plenty of channels to choose from on the TV, and the curtains really do black out the room in the mornings when the sun comes up. Each room is equipped with a split air unit that is easy to adjust the temperature on. The only downside is the rooms don’t come with microwaves in them, so reheating leftovers is not very much an option.

Nico Ackermans: to ask if they still had room for that same night and the following night.Staff at the desk and telephone were very friendly and helpful and we were allowed to visit that same night. So I was received very kindly and received the necessary explanation. Room was very clean and the hotel is in a prime location in downtown Los AngelesSo very satisfied with this hotel, I would choose it again when traveling to LA. So see you again...Rooms: The bathroom is also clean and beautifulNearby activities: Ideal for exploring the city center and for attending a Laker or Dodger matchSafety: Nothing unsafe noticed

I have almost always been disappointed by hotel restaurants and bars. Ardor as well as the roof bar are both phenomenal--the types of places that you visit for the food and ambience, not just because you are staying at the hotel they are located at.The staff took their time getting to know our preferences and were quite attentive. In particular Edward, one of the managers is exceptional with his customer service, knowledge, and first-class manners. This man deserves a promotion. I haven't had this good of service since I was last in Spain. Also, Charlie at the front desk was wonderful. The front desk and the first 2 minutes in a property can make you feel welcome--not not. Charlie was unbelievably professional and welcoming--my best check in yet. I have been a Marriott member for 8 years now and I must say this has been my favorite stay at a Marriott property.

D Silbering: ・There is no bathtub. There are only a limited number of rooms with bathtubs, and only a few of the more expensive rooms have them.Unlike the snob hotels in Los Angeles, or the club-like luxury hotels where 30-somethings gather, this is a quiet and classy hotel.I wish there were more hotels on this route.

Kendra B: I didn't stay here. I only went up to the rooftop for drinks after dinner. Good view, cozy seating, good forna date night or girls' night.

Ella Valentine: Favorite spot to watch the sunset from!

Kimpton Hotel Wilshire: what do users think?

Rae Hughart: Oh, where do I even begin with my extraordinary stay at Kimpton Hotel Wilshire? It was like stepping into a cocoon of luxury, and every moment felt like a scene from a dreamy movie. From the moment I strolled in, I was welcomed by an ensemble of warmth and elegance that left me absolutely spellbound.A special shoutout to the real MVP of my check-in experience – Gaby! If there's an award for the friendliest and most efficient front desk wizard, Gaby would win it hands down. Her smile was like a burst of sunshine, and she navigated the check-in process with such finesse that I felt like a VIP rockstar. Gaby, you're not just a hotel superhero; you're the heart and soul of Kimpton Hotel Wilshire! Now, let's talk about the rooms – they're not just rooms; they're little slices of heaven. The decor is so swanky that I felt like I was in an upscale Pinterest board. The bed was a cloud of happiness, and the amenities were like little surprise gifts waiting for me. I genuinely considered hiding in the closet and never leaving. And oh, the view! I could write sonnets about the view from my room. The city lights twinkling like a million stars – it was like having my own private light show. I may have spent an embarrassing amount of time just staring out the window, but who can blame me?The staff, oh the staff! They're not just professionals; they're a squad of hospitality rockstars. Housekeeping? Impeccable. Restaurant team? Culinary magicians. Every encounter was sprinkled with genuine kindness and a dash of personality that made me feel less like a guest and more like an old friend. The rooftop pool and fitness center were the cherries on top of an already fabulous cake. I broke a personal record on the treadmill, and then promptly undid it with a refreshing dip in the pool. Life is about balance, right? In conclusion, Kimpton Hotel Wilshire is not just a place to stay; it's a symphony of indulgence and friendliness orchestrated by an amazing cast of characters. If you're looking for a stay that transcends the ordinary and enters the realm of unforgettable, do yourself a favor and book a room here. As for me, I'm already planning my next escape to this slice of paradise. Bravo, Kimpton Wilshire, bravo!

The Wayfarer Downtown Los Angeles: what do users think?

Evan Liu: Rooms: For a four star hotel, the 4 bunk bed room was extremely small for four travelers. Smaller than some college dorm rooms. Maybe even smaller than a cruise ship room, which is tiny. However, the beds were very comfortable, soft, and plush.Walkability: Very central downtown. Walking distance to a nice mall and the big DTLA arenas/venues.

Olsen Cheung: For the price I paid, everything was goodApart from the Internet speed0.27mbpsNever seen slower mbps

TiDa VISION: The rooftop experience in DTLA is ALWAYS a vibe. I enjoyed my night out at Wayfarer's rooftop restaurant. The place was pretty packed, keeping the staff very busy. Not a very vegetarian friendly menu for entrees, however the appetizers were INCREDIBLE. My favorite was the brussel sprouts dish. A combination of savory and sweet that made my mouth happy! The drinks are pricey, but hey it's DTLA, so that's to be expected. I didn't mind it at all and if you're looking for a fun thing to do, I recommend grabbing a bite and view and maybe a room 😉

Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles: what do users think?

Valerie Thom: While the procedures for registration, check-in & checkout are not yet seamless nor intuitive not to worry, the stay was great. The daytime onsite staff are there to bridge the gap getting you checked in & settled with competence & kindness. The DTLA location, as well as the beautiful historic building, with it’s interesting rooms, rooftop pool & soon-to- be restaurant seal the deal. I recommend the Kasa Stiles Hotel without reservation. Great stay that exceeded my expectations. Looking forward already to my next stay.

Madeleine Terc: I had a wonderful experience and the hotel is a walking distance to just about every attraction downtown. I love that art deco and the feel of a rustic/antique look. Best place to stay.Rooms: The room has a retro/modern look. The bed is a low profile but very comfortable.Nearby activities: Grammy Museum, crypto arena, convention centerSafety: Even thought downtown has it issues with homelessness. I felt comfortable to walk aroundWalkability: The hotel is near all downtown attractions and restaurantsFood & drinks: They have beautiful coffee shop in the lobby. If you want a mid night snack. Theres a taco shop next to hotel would definitely would recommend.

Macarena Howard: Friendly staff that truly were keen to help out with any questions/needs. Staff were bilingual which provided comforting to some friends that didn't know English. The cleaning staff very very lovely thoughtful and understanding. It can get bit loud during the night but they provide earplugs which is very attentive of them to provide comfort.Definitely will consider staying there again. Thanks Kasa Team.Muchas GraciasRooms: Clean rooms diferent prices to different spaces needs.Nearby activities: Different places to walk toWalkability: Pretty central with walking distance to places Palace theatres. To where I needed to attend was 3 min walk so great location for me.Food & drinks: Light snacks available there. And they are training up to have coffee too.But near there few food trucks and a restaurant available.
