Ludi Zhu: went in there to get an americano, didn’t want it hot or iced cus it’s low key chilly this morning. so i asked for an americano that’s not hot but also not iced. the cashier didn’t get it i thought maybe my voice was too low or she didn’t understand it because that was too vague. so i rephrased, i said could i get a room temperatured americano. when i was paying, she went to the barista said something and they started laughing. loving it! always want to see people having fun while murmuring in the back. i didn’t leave any tip cus i already felt uncomfortable atm, im really sorry i didn’t i feel like i should have leave tip no matter how uncomfortable i felt cus i do need to respect their hard work. when i finally got the americano the barista went like “let me know if this is a ‘good temperature’ for you” again, they are so caring, he even had a smirk when he was asking me. i said oh im sure it’s fine i just didn’t want it too hot or iced. im really sorry i didn’t know the perfect word for coffee that’s not iced or hot. English is my third language im still learning it everyday. will definitely come back when i have perfect english maybe even a slight hint of british accent. maybe i would feel more comfortable then. again im so sorry for feeling uncomfortable and being sensitive when they laugh after i ordered or about that smirk. the vibe there is really cool tho, the branding is on point. i’m sorry i wasn’t cool enough for you🙏 hope the cashier queen and barista king is having a great day
Jonathan Caballero: I was looking for a place to do some studying and a friend recommended Verve. It’s a nice spot to just enjoy some tea and do some reading. There are a lot of people who seemed to be working, and a small group just there to socialize a bit. Everyone seemed respectful of the environment. You can pay for the tea once and get a couple steeps, which I thought was a nice touch. I’ll be back!

Sarada Lakshmanan: Coffee was amazing. I got the Not so Irish Latte. It wasn't too sweet and you could taste the non-alcoholic bourbon in the drink. They have coffee for sale and on Saturdays, you get $2 off a single origin bag of coffee. The place was gorgeous. Mostly outside seating but it's under a roof. Slow turnover, a good place to catch up with friends. Wouldn't recommend studying here.

Felipe Latorre: My visit to Dinosaur was another example of the notion that every aspect of a cafe/restaurant experience can be great, but if the service is not good, it puts a damper on everything else. The barista that took my order seemed like he was over existence, exhibiting not even an ounce of warmth. Everyone has their days, so there’s no judgement, but having worked retail, you just need to pull through as best you can. Anyway, the espresso was decent, they were out of pastries so I couldn’t try any, and both the cup and saucer were chipped, so even the serving experience was lackluster. The space is nice, but it seems like a business that has lost its passion for the craft that it provides.Vegetarian options: As per usual with most cafes, all drinks and pasties are vegetarian.
Zeeshan Badshah: Good strong Americano. Multiple options for seating and calm spot to work from. There is parking in the back which was a surprise, as in front the street parking on sunset is a bit tougher to find.

Michael Johnson: Any Harry Potter fan needs to put this on their must visit lists. I’ll never forget my first time walking in here and just having so many wow moments. The coffee tastes so fresh, the staff are friendly and the pastries tastes yummy! The shop is also done up so well and just a nice place to spend time. Definitely, definitely recommend!

Miles Brown: I’ve come here previously but it was outdoor service only and I was so happy to come inside and check it out for reals. It was even better than I hoped and what a cool experience. I can’t thank Beverly, our barista, enough for being so patient and kind with me and my partner. I completely didn’t see that my order had coffee in it, and I cannot have coffee. I hate asking for a refund or return on anything, I feel terrible about it, but my boyfriend didn’t want me to be stuck with something I couldn’t have. It was so jammed packed and Beverly was so sweet, completely understanding, and made every attempt to help us and make us happy. We explained how I can’t have coffee and they offered to make the drink special for me with no coffee, offered other drinks, and even tried to return our money. I sipped on my boyfriend drink while we were waiting to figure it out and it was so tasty I asked if I could swap for that instead and they were more than happy to help and make it right for me. Beverly went above and beyond to be so patient and I can’t imagine dealing with so many customers on a constant basis. This place is popular for a good reason! It’s just plain awesome. So happy to drive up from San Diego to visit when I can and love to support amazing black owned businesses! This is a must check out spot and thank you for your awesome service Beverly!

Ona: My go-to neighborhood spot. Very sweet service with a smile and good coffee too. Today I tried a dirty chai latte and not only did this hot beverage warm my body on this cloudy chilly day, but it warmed my very heart and soul with a perfectly spiced palate. Sometimes dirty chai lattes can be either too sweet or too perfect but this one literally made me “MMMMPH” out loud on the street and got some strange looks so thanks for that.

Chrissy Maroon: This is the best cafe in Los Angeles, hands down! I usually come around noon, and and always welcomed with open arms. Today I felt especially welcomed. The two women working were super attentive. I am always satisfied when I come here! Try the Cold Brew. It’s the strongest and best Cold Brew in Los Angeles!
