Bestia: what do users think?

Otieno Okatch: Got here a little early and overheard their boisterous staff meeting, what followed next was a completely fulfilling dining experience from service, to atmosphere, to the wonders on the table. As a vegetarian, I’m always on the lookout for delicious options. The Caesar salad visually stunning and certainly one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Great place to take your wife and friends for a dining experience.

Gloria Echeverria: It was such a lovely evening. It was very loud and a bit difficult to hear our great wait staff. Everything else was perfect and delicious. Their Old Fashion was on point and worth the price. The Peruvian Scallops was the best way to begin the meal. They were light, sweet, with a few different flavors that came together beautifully in my mouth. The chicken pâté was silly smooth on charred sourdough and was balanced well. I had to try the pasta. You could tell the spinach ravioli filled with osso buco was made by talented chefs. The "chocolate tart" was delicious and not too sweet.

Armando: A very pretty friend and I decided to try Bestia on a Thursday at 5pm. After arriving and entering an outdoor patio that leads into the indoor seating, we couldn't help notice the bright blue wall, nicely trimmed tree, outdoor string lights all coming together to make a quiet eating experience but my pretty woman friend wanted us to experience the inside. Inside was livelier, more people, closely positioned tables, and an open kitchen facing the eating area. Cool modern music that's not too loud. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the coconut red chili oil scallops garnished with herbs and a slice of strawberry. I was pleased with the combination of flavors. Then we shared the bone marrow pasta, which was packed with savory flavors and interesting soft textures. It was delicious. Of course, we had to try the herb ceasar salad everyone raves about when talking about Bestia, and the hype is all true. We then shared a marguarita pizza and let me say this, despite the overly salted tomato sauce, the napolitano style crust elevated the rest of the pizza ingredients. I had old sunglasses: a tequila blanco cocktail with sweet citrus flavors all well balanced, I couldn't just have 1. My pretty friend had unsweetened ice tea, which was refreshing with a subtle fruit flavor. For dessert, we shared the chocolate dessert with a crispy sweet and salty crust that complimented the rich thick chocolate mouse that was just the right amount of sweet. It's the kind of place you take an attractive friend you really, really like. Recommend you plan at least a couple of weeks ahead to get a table because this place has a big following.

Perch: what do users think?

Erdem: As someone from NYC, I wasn't fascinated by the view. LA's downtown area seemed quite sketchy, too. The food, however, was amazing! The service was friendly too. At the end of our dinner the manager came to check if we had a good time. He was very personable and gave us great recommendations of places to go after dinner.Ps. Valet parking is available.

Olaf Thamm: A must do when in LA!

Olivia Rankin: I truly enjoyed my experience at perch. I arrived during the happy hour around 4 PM. This was the perfect time to go. The restaurant wasn’t really crowded and we got one of the best seats in the restaurant that overlooked the city. Not only was the view awesome, but the food was also very delicious. 🤤I recommend coming during the happy hour honestly because you get the opportunity to order a little bit of this and a little bit of that. During this time you can order from their happy hour menu and fromfrom the dinner menu.

Swats: The rooftop on the 15th floor is great, but it cannot accommodate many groups. Just five groups can occupy most of the amazing view, leaving no seating space for others. It would have been better if there were more seats. The patio on the lower floor is fantastic, and the ambiance is even better than on the rooftop. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the warmth from the heaters. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the food as the kitchen was closed, but the other service staff were polite and friendly.

Becky A.: Really lovely rooftop - gorgeous views during the day and at night.Got the chance to come here for a group event and tried the chicken skewers and brioche beef sliders and they were really good.Had the Moscow mule which was more on the sweeter side than I’m used to due to the candied ginger but it was still a decent drink.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar: what do users think?

CABLE CABLE: This RACISM must not stand! Do not spend a cent on this establishment! FORCE IT OUT OF BUSINESS!Disgusting RACISTS! I was dining with others at the San Diego-area restaurant on May 29 to celebrate my brother getting engaged. When the dinner plates began to arrive at their table, I received a hot plate of steak, but my BLACK boyfriend did not! Instead of steak, he was served an empty hot plate sprinkled with parsley. While delivering the empty plate, [the server] looked at my BLACK boyfriend and said: ‘You’re probably used to a loud sizzle with your hot plate, but ours is silent. Enjoy."The server told him that he had once “spilled a drink on a Black guy” while working as a bartender and thanked McKillian for “your good behavior for not acting out.”

Ayanna Kennedy: I went to Fleming's before a concert at the Peacock Theater in LA Live. I love steakhouses and dine at them regularly, and I would consider this a good steakhouse overall. The food was really good and the cocktails were nice and balanced. We had a bit of an issue with getting seated and serviced initially, but the service definitely improved throughout the dining experience. It was a bit louder than I would say a typical steakhouse is, but I assume that's the area it's located and the fact that there were events in L.A. Live. I would want to come back to try it out again.

robert squyres: First time eating here was on 2/24/2024. It was fantastic food and a great experience. Our table split a couple sharable sides. The first item was the Fleming's Potatoes, which to me was a very rich and flavorful au gratin type of dish. The second item was the crab cakes. I have never had a crab cake before, and I think these spoiled them from here on out. They were jam packed with crab, seared perfectly, and the red pepper and lime sauce was perfect with them. The third item was the flash fried brussels sprouts. I have had brussels sprouts before, but these were the best I have ever had. The crispy texture, along with the sauce that was on it was perfect. I can only guess what was on them, but it tasted like balsamic vinaigrette with either honey or brown sugar. I will have to try and figure out how to cook these at home! For dinner I had the Main Filet Mignon with the Diablo Shrimp on top. The steak was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth!Accompanying dinner they served nice fresh bread with 2 different butters. The first one was a champagne infused butter, and the second was a cheddar and herb butter. Both were fantastic, but if I had to choose I would take the champagne butter any day.The other two dishes we had was the Petite Filet Mignon and the Miso-Glazed Chilean Sea Bass. I do not have pictures of those two dishes, but I was told that both dishes were fantastic!I would return here again, but I would reserve it for a special occasion or anniversary. It is fantastic food, just not something that can be afforded on a regular basis.

Roberta Holts: The service & food is always top notch here! Depending on how you feel, dining in the bar area is always a winner. You can receive the same food & it may even be slightly cheaper if it falls within the time for happy hour.My go to is the Caesar Salad with Salmon, as pictured, Sweet Chili Calamari & a nice cocktail.Parking: Parking is free for 2 hours, WITH VALIDATION, if you park in the L.A. Live, underground parking garage. The entrance is on Olympic right next to the Yard House Restaurant. Ask your server for validation, they'll provide you with a ticket.

Hal Lester: Quincey & Jesse were just awesome -Couldn’t do enough for us! What a great pre-venue steak house with great food and great people. I wish I’d have taken pictures!

Brandon Griffin: William and Jessie were great. I had lots of gluten free questions and they walked us through everything. It was an enjoyable experience.Dietary restrictions: I wish they had gluten free bread.

Cristine: Food is amazing as always! The Blueberry Lemon Drop is a little different here than at the other Fleming's I've been to, but still tasty! Absolutely love their filet mignon. They have a seasonal apricot and thyme green beans side, and that is pretty amazing as well! Would 1000% recommend taking a rideshare to this location. I would honestly drive the extra miles down to other Fleming's locations only because the parking situation here at the DTLA/LA Live absolutely sucks especially on the weekends. The "complimentary" photo was interesting, but nice when you're having dinner with friends you rarely see!

지수: The food was a bit greasy, and the kimchi fried rice was delicious but greasy haha. The prices were a bit on the steep side, so I tried to eat it all.I used valet parking, but parking on the street seems to have a time limit and is a bit more expensive! Feel free to pay and have valet :

Baltaire Restaurant: what do users think?

laynee: This is a beautifully stunning & very loud restaurant. Thankfully, we got seated on the outskirts but still the volume was intense. If, this is your kind of scene then this is the place to visit. The food we ordered was absolutely amazing. Fresh, tasty & of quality. Great place to share plates. Menu provided plenty of options for every palette.Desserts were pretty good but I was disappointed in the mango & raspberry sorbet. The mandarin was refreshing.Cocktails were too strong I thought but others like 1 and done. The flavor profiles were nice.Staff were super friendly & playful. Service was great!

Andreina Vera: Spectacular family experience...

[None]: , and the only thing better than the food is the service by a warm, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive staff. The portions are rich taste and in aesthetic value, bountiful and captivating in flavor and presentation, and are a good size and not disappointing like other high-end restaurants where you're served foam on half a pea and a grape stem on the left of the plate only to be charged $400 for "the chef's vision"

A.O.C.: what do users think?

Nilu F: Food and wine selection at AOC is very good. The service is what stood out most. I dined here Monday night and the hostess was very kind. Michael our waiter really made our night. He had great menu and drink recommendations and his positive attitude was so infectious it really made our night. He really set the standard for amazing service. We will be back asap to see him!

Edward Blazejewski: We enjoyed a nice dinner during our visit to LA. The focaccia was delicious and had a perfect crust. I ordered the fried chicken and it was so tender and juicy. The portion sizes are smaller and meant for sharing. We ended up being quite full after our meal. The food was very good, but didn’t blow us away. All very simple and fresh, so can’t complain! The restaurant itself is very nice and great for a nice dinner.

William Mazur: The best brunch in LA, not even close. While there are a lot of fantastic brunch places in Los Angeles and many have had to make adjustments during the pandemic. AOC is undoubtedly my favorite brunch in Los Angeles. The fact that there are more than seven truly rockstar dishes, while also laying claim to the best sticky bun, the best egg sandwich, one of the best burgers, the best crab omelette, and perhaps the best fried chicken and waffle in Los Angeles, the atmosphere, incredible selection of beverages and remarkable service andstaff make this a must.

Briar Burns: Amazing visit! Suzanne was so accommodating and even sent complimentary drinks our way. The food was amazing; halibut was incredibly seasoned and the steak was to die for. Recommend ordering sides as serving sizes are slightly on the smaller side. The fingerling potatoes were good but honestly a little under-salted. House made bread was soft on the inside and has delicious crispy crust. All in all we will be back—every single member of staff was on their A-game and I’ll be thinking about the halibut for a long time.

Home Restaurant: what do users think?

Don C. Railsback O.D.: If you're in the Los Feliz area of LA Home is a must visit.First and foremost, the service at Home was really 5+. Our server, Farinda, was amazing. She greeted us with a warm and engaging smile, and throughout our experience, she provided just the right amount of attention. Our daughter had been bragging about Home and especially the Cucumber Jalapeno Bloody Mary. Farinda adjusted the level of heat to Teresa's taste.Egg fried rice - fresh,  lemony, and satisfying. Sliced almonds add a nice crunch.  Turkey sausage seasoned perfectly to create a unique flavor that mimics pork without losing the turkey.Steak and eggs- seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium that bordered on medium rare. Fries were cut to the right thickness, so we're crispy enough for my taste but not overdone, so the potatoey flavor met Teresa's desire for her favorite version of fries.Chilaquilles - balance great, crispy chips, perfect chorizo, right amount of sauce, huge portion but almost finished because it was so goodCalifornia eggwich- I wanted a uniquely california dish, and this hit the mark. The sourdough was crisp and tasty, avocado added a soothing creamyness and paired with the California tomatoes perfectly. The description indicated that dish included ailoii, and it was there and enhanced the flavor profile without dominating the sandwich. The fruit side was also perfectly balanced with the right amounts of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cantaloupe, and honeydew.Carrot Cake -  I'm a huge fan of carrot cake, and this ranks among the best I've had. Moist, but not too moist, smoothly sweet and adorned with raisins and walnuts. I don't usually like walnuts, but these were not bitter and retained their crunchiness while allowing the walnut flavor to enhance the profile without domination. Cream cheese frosting was smooth and buttery. The perfect finish to an almost perfect meal.

Chigozie Mbamalu: when we got there we realized it was open and The Home restaurant is connected 😀.Ambience & decor : 5/5. This place is soo beautiful and decorated in a way that creates curiosity and wonder.Bar/drinks: 5/5. Let's get into how handsome the bartender is with the dark hair and green eyes. He was so attentive and knowledgeable about what to recommend us.Food: 5/5. For table appetizers we started with the Nachos...delicious and filling so honestly that plate is big enough for 2-3 people. We then did, banana walnuts pancakes

Cigal Shaham: .Great Japanese food at reasonable prices. For example, a veggie plate is $16 and comes with sushi veggie roll, salad, rice, tofu, a shot of miso vegetable soup, and a shot of cookies. So a full meal. The drinks and desserts are great, too. Lots of gluten free cookies, boba, and other delights.

pasjoli: what do users think?

Stephen Lim: Really love this restaurant. One of the best food crews on the West Coast, from a level of attention to detail on food and service. I think it was smart for them to loosen up a bit with a la carte service instead of traditional pre fixe for this tier of restaurants.Love the recent collaborations. Here are some shots of their recent event with Yangban.

Adreena Angela: The interior of this place is quite attractive and it's got a very good menu if you're into very classic French food, and aren't afraid of everything being very rich and buttery.I found the appetisers and hors d'oeuvres better than the mains, which were pretty heavy. The tartare, dauphinois and chicken liver was exceptional.A nice meal marred slightly by the service which was a but uncomfortable. The relentless upsell was a bit much.

Cameron Harati: They were out of the duck when I went which was disappointing and everything else we got was good but nothing crazy. Maybe the Michelin star is for the duck, but otherwise, I don't see it. Get more ducks!Food: 4/5 …

Cate F.: , mostly because we ordered the most expensive dishes on the menu, but I’m really glad I did have the duck at least once! I would definitely go back!

Alan Dyck: It was an amazing experience in a beautiful setting. Great and differentiated appetizers. Top tier mains. Perfectly attentive front of house, took care of plates and drinks without intruding—so hard to get this right. And the desserts! And coincidentally, my birthday the day before, and my date’s birthday the day after. We got a nice unobtrusive candle to blow out together, and they treated us with kindness and respect.
