3rd Street Dance: what do users think?

Vikki: Smaller than I thought from photos but really nice people. The windows are nice!

Alain H.: I had an awesome and very instructional beginner's salsa boot camp today, led by Gina! Will definitely be attending more classes in the future.

Aseel Nazer: Excellent work excellent staff

Mark Maccora: I have learned so much about how to be a good leader and partner from the excellent teachers at 3rd Street Dance. It has allowed me to be much more confident on the dance floor, and I can apply the lessons to others parts of my life, as well. The community is also great. Thank you for such an inspiring and transformative experience!

Dee Gee: Beginner Dance salsa was a lot of fun! Gina and the other instructor were great teachers, super welcoming, high energy. For partnering that have you form two circles with leads on one side and follows on the other. Very inclusive of folks who want to lead/follow regardless of gender identity.

Robert Gish: Both the , Kizomba class, and teacher, and the salsa class and teachers were excellent

Huyen Bui: took the beginners salsa bootcamp here. amazing class, great teacher. would do again and highly recommend

Francesco Civilini: Great atmosphere and friendly people.

Bryan Sanson: It was great. We were able to social distance in the parking lot everybody had Mask and there was hand sanitizer they also had sheets of wood to dance on. Other than that instructor Leslie is a great person to be around she always has great energy.

Melissa K. Dagodag: We took ten private lessons with Tamas and he was amazing! He choreographed our wedding dance and really made us look like we could dance by about lesson number 7. The last few lessons became enjoyable because we knew the moves so well. And, best of all, our wedding dance went spectacularly well on our big day. I can't say enough about how grateful I am to our patient and skilled teacher!

Evolve Pole & Dance Studio: what do users think?

simbi hall: Evolve is a beautiful space run by a lovely team. I feel relaxed and rejuvenated!

Catherine Chang: I am beyond thrilled I came across this gem in the heart of mid-city. I have frequented over 30+ saunas across the country and I will say this is hands down MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE sauna/studio of all time. The first time I booked, I was greeted by Lani. She welcomed me into the studio on a first name basis and made me feel so welcome. The studio itself is a vibe! It's super clean with the ambiance and lighting being a mood. They offer you a cold towel every time and ask whether you would like it with essential oils. Their pricing is very affordable with different package options or a single session. I feel so welcome every time I stop in as if I'm in a warm, nourishing community space. My first session was a week ago and I've already been back 3x. This is my new go to studio! Thank you Evolve Sanctuary for curating such a beautiful space!

Venus Andaya: I absolutely love it here! I’m still a beginner in pole and the instructors are so supportive and patient. They create SUCH A VIBE and a safe space to learn. The other pole girlies that come are also so helpful and friendly. And I love that as a collective for all of us, we hype each other up and congratulate each other.Community here is the most important to me. I have definitely been building my confidence and I’m ready to see how amazing my progress will be! Shout out to ya’ll!

Trish Craig: Love this place!! The saunas are incredible after a class. It’s so private and relaxing and all the staff is so welcoming and encouraging. Highly recommend!!

Julia Negroni: Evolve dance studio is the real deal! By far the best pole classes I’ve ever taken. Many places focus too much on conditioning, without much time for practice. Here was 90% practice, and the conditioning just happens from trying the moves over and over. I felt so accomplished that I could achieve more than I thought I ever could! The photo was taken just in my second class. Can’t wait to work my way up and unleash my inner goddess. ✨But not only are the instructors amazing, the service I received from Maddy over text has been top notch. She follows up, and even booked me a class when it was 9pm at night; not to mention, went out of her way to recommend treatments for my kinked neck.Lastly, as a tall girl, I appreciate the spacing between the poles. Lots of room to do your thing and not clash with others! If you’ve been thinking about trying pole, just do it here and look no further.

Lindsey K.: Had a marvelous, nourishing, and healing experience at Evolve’s Sanctuary and Infrared Sauna. Felt completely refreshed and rejuvenated after sitting in the sauna with friends. Lani was such a warm, welcoming and gracious host. It was a perfect birthday treat topped with the most delicious Gratitude essential oil. Thank you, Lani!

Tia: Super fun classes, customer service was amazing and I recommend the saunas!!

Reena Evans: Very nice and welcoming. Smells nice and clean! Love the tv screens with YouTube to watch. Brand new looking individual sauna rooms.

Diandra PT: The facility is so calm and clean. The owner makes you feel very welcome and the sauna is easy to use. I was able to customize the temperature and relax with their Bluetooth speakers to a program I chose to watch on their TV. The lavender cool towel was the perfect way to reset once my session ended. I will definitely be back!

Robin Zelko: . There’s room to stretch in the private sauna space. The owner offers you a cold, lavender towel as well as water if you need. She also provides you with towels. The space is minimalist and perfect for when you need to be in a low stimulation environment.

M C (Xixi): . My special requests and accommodations for classes and sauna have been met graciously every time. The studio and sauna are always super clean and smell inexplicably great. Support this business!!!

ROBIN VISO: It feels like being back home. I came here years ago but had to stop due to an injury. I've been back for about a month and it continues to be a friendly and supportive community.

mia quintero: Amazing experience. Booking next session asap!

Vanessa Benton: I had an amazing experience. This will be my Sunday routine. I came in sore from my work outs and left feeling refreshed and healed. Highly highly recommend!!

Pretty Pwincess: I wanna do this I’m 18 and chubby I seen some videos of chubby bigger girls doing dancing in this studio and I wanted to try out! I weight 214 pounds, and I’m eighteen , I seen on google the pole can hold about 500+ lbs. so I wanna try out, when are the tryouts and what are recommended to bring here as a beginner?

marcel Farmer: Great experience in the sauna very relaxing. I was sceptical at first about the infrared aspect,as I've never done it before. But with me being a trainer and working out I felt great was able to stretch and it actually helped in certain aches I had been. Overall great experience...

Carlos Suarez: definitely check out this space! the classes are a always a vibe. make sure to also check out BIRDIE! they teach on Tuesdays. such beautiful human.

Ryan Heffington's The Sweat Spot: what do users think?

Yucheng Huang: Delicious 😋

Sian Harden: Been stuck at home with no emotional or physical outlet with the covid shut down. Was perusing my Instagram when I watched a video of Pink talking about how amazing the online class / dance party was with Ryan Heffington. I thought well I LOVE to dance haven’t done for 20+ years... let’s check it out!! And let me tell you it changed my life!!! I’m so many ways!!! I was laughing, crying and dancing and for the first time in a long time I was feeling happy to the core !! Then I became addicted and started taking other classes that were offered on IG live from the sweat spot for donation only!!! Which every time you dance with one of the dancers you want to send them your entire bank account. Because you are so grateful!! After this last dance class I just took on Instagram I felt the need to do something to show my deepest appreciation!!! I enrolled in a zoom class that wasn’t working properly and they offered to refund me!! NOWAY!! Refund ?? During these times when I know the shut down has affected all their dancers so much! Their kindness and positivity was worth every penny!! No refund needed my money has been so well spent a million times over!!! I just wish they were in Santa Barbara, I would be there everyday dancing my heart out! I think once the doors are open again, I might have to find a way to head down to LA !! Thank you Ryan heffingron, The sweat spot, and all the amazing teachers and staff!!! You have made this distancing so much fun!!’

Ahmed Seif: Wether you're looking to learn new moves or you just simply want to get off your couch, then The Sweat Spot is an immediate go to. Words really can't describe how amazing these people are, especially with their work. And honestly, you don't need to hear words from anyone to feel the love and support this wonderful community has to offer.Side note: This was only one class out of the variety. As soon as I saw the bulletin board right next to the lovely ladies at the front desk, I felt like I walked into a candy shop. What classes they offer? That's for me to not tell you and for you to find out.

Chizoba Ezeh: Great location to dance, workout and sweat.

Sofia Yepes: It's not a learning environment it's more of you should already know and we'll play with dope choreography.

Heather Ong: The sound system isn't great, you get a lot of static once the volume goes too high

Kaycee krieg: Amazing dance fun! Super addictive!

Rhythm Room L.A.: what do users think?

Michael Richardson: Really cool underground bar/night club with great live music. We had no expectations we came by this spot and we had a really good time. The food was good and the music was even better. Here are some thoughts:EnvironmentAt the time you arrive you are greeted by security who will check your IDs. There is a cover charge to get in. I believe it was $5 and they do take cards if you don't have cash. Once you're in walk down a flight of steps with really cool decor. It seems like there might not be much to the place but then it opens up into the establishment with booths straight ahead, a bar to your right and further into the space is more seating, pool tables, ping pong, and shuffleboard theres are a huge projector that doubles as a stage for live music. The ambiance is real dope, it gives us gringy, speakeasy vibes but busy and lively. We came on a good night where there was great live music. You order everything at the bar - food and drinks. You can grab your drinks and they give you a number and bring your food out to you. Overall pretty easy and even when it was busy it didn't take too long to order and get everything you needed. Overall pretty good experience and really enjoyed the vibes. If you're look for a lighter crowd i suggest getting their early. It looks like it may pretty lively as the night goes on.Servicedidn't really have much service. The security was cool and welcoming - no issues there and the bartenders were pretty quick and efficient even with a huge crowd.Food and drinksThe food was pretty solid. We had the nachos, the burger and some fries. All were good. My colleague really enjoyed the nachos - I'm not sure if it's because she likes nachos a ton or if it was just that good. lol But overall the food is good enough to go back and solid to have again.OverallReally cool spot and good for live music and some solid food and if you want to play some games with friends. Also good for a quick drink before going out to dinner or enjoying the rest of your night. Loved the decor and the ambiance. Would go back.

Iván Hernández Flores: Atmosphere: 5/5

Chris Rose: Great bartenders and consistently good live music, will return.Atmosphere: 5/5 …

Ari Williams: Such a VIBE!!! The night I went was on my birthday and the live performers were so freaking amazing. Cocktails were a bit pricey but they had a 5$ pineapple shot that was so fun!Atmosphere: 5/5 …

Liz Barajas: Best billiards 🎱 in town ! The menu and selections of beers exquisite beyond means !!! Chill and laid-back spot to enjoy and have a good time at ! Definitely returning soon for some more good times !!!

Ryan Hines: The tacos are so good

David Martinez: Such a great place!!! Good beers and awesome space. Check it out!!!!

Scott McClave: This place is a hidden gem. I cannot believe this place isn't packed all the time. Probably one of the coolest venues ever: the room is awesome. Ther beers are excellent and very reasonably priced. And the food is delicious. Kid and dog friendly with table games, pool and shuffleboard. I you've been here, you know. Cirque School: what do users think?

celine cherici: Cirque School is an amazing place to practice circus and to improve skills. The kindness of coachs is very deep . You will never feel lost or insecure over there.

Stephanie Gerard: It’s an amazing community, a happy place where you can explore what your body can do, you can also challenge yourself and it’s the best type of therapy!I love this place.

Halei Parker: My happy place ❤️🎪 The best coaches, the most welcoming people. Two years later, it's still my favorite place

Taylor Jayy: I’ve had a really great time coming here. Rick is a really amazing coach and the other students and staff are all very nice and welcoming.I’ve had a wonderful time.

Alec Talbott: Aza was a fantastic teacher. I felt that she explained things in a way that allowed me to understand what I was doing in a new way- difficult since I've been dancing for a very long time. The class environment was great and I felt like I was challenged at an appropriate level. Definitely coming back.

Jojo Ramos Patrick: Love cirq school! While it’s always a treat to see the coaches in action, I also never get tired of watching students step out of their comfort zones and progress in their fitness journeys. A beautifully welcoming and empowering space. Have been showing up to their red door since 2011

Nikelola Balogun: with great coaches and everything that suits my contorting/circus needs. Yay!

abraham nguyen: Unique classes. Friendly and fun trainers. Great venue with a welcoming atmosphere.

Cynthia Bienvenue: I booked Acro101 with Justin online. The business is located right off the freeway, street parking only but I had no issues with that, parking was very simple lots of meters and opened space right in front. Receptionist was very friendly in explaining how everything worked for me being a first timer, be sure you have proof of vaccination upon arrival. The inside of the building is so spacious and gorgeous, they have cubbies for your belongings, complimentary water and a sitting area. The session was great, definitely a workout. I was a bit less confident performing some stunts as I am not familiar in rolls or some others but the instructor stood by my side to support me and was very patient with me, he definitely helped alleviate my nerves and made me feel more confident and confortable. Justin is an absolute wonderful teacher I highly recommend taking his class and I'm looking forward to future classes with him.

Natalie Weinstein: I came in for a beginner silks/static trapeze class and had a blast! The teacher, Rick was both helpful and hilarious. He explained things clearly and was there to spot on anything I felt uncomfortable with. I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the LA area again!

Sophie Goulet: The coaches are super friendly and highly skilledThe classes are fun and you also get a goodworkoutIt's also a beautiful studio/gym

Jenni Stukin: So fun! I am SO out of shape and I still had a blast. Rick is such a fun teacher!! And they won't push you any harder than you're ready to go. If you're looking for a new kind of work out OR you wanna learn a new skill OR BOTH, I highly recommend the Aerial Fit Fun class.

Marine George: I wanted to be an acrobat as a child! I don't believe this dream will come true but this place did allow me to rekindle my child spirit and enjoy classes which help me work on my core, arms and flexibility while having fun and doing awesome moves!

The Vertitude L.A. - Pole : Aerial : Fitness: what do users think?

Leanne Brodie: Love this place! Great people and fantastic classes!

Michelle Fairbank: I took my first class here second pole class ever yesterday and it was amazing! The instructor Meggan was a beautiful powerhouse. Her skill and passion came through and I was lucky enough to meet a new friend! Looking forward to coming back soon!

I S: So happy to have found this studio! I’ve been taking classes for about a month, and I’m obsessed. Danielle and Meggan are amazing instructors, especially for beginners. I’ve gotten lucky to have my own pole each time I go, although I wouldn’t mind sharing because we learn so much from watching/working with others.

Krista Kelly: Hello! I have been poling for a few years. I started with classes at another studio closer to my home. I moved to private instruction during COVID with Meggan Marie at Vertitude. We worked on a piece, and I got silver in PPC After Dark. I resumed classes after at the other studio when restrictions were over. The negative comments Ive read for Vertitude have to do with taking classes, and the same issues are at each studio, especially 2 people sharing a pole. It is more expensive to do one private and open pole instead of classes, but if you're starting to get more specific about your pole goals, you may want to consider a private trainer like Meggan.A year and a half ago I had an injury and couldn't walk for 2 months. It's taken me this long in physical therapy to be able to use my feet normally again. Yesterday, I reentered the athletic world one micro movement at a time with Meggan Marie private instruction. She did an out standing job personalizing to my condition with my physical therapist. I thought we'd just be doing a lot of strength training, but I got to tip my toe in and dance for a bit! It's going to be a new hill of micro movements to achieve to get back where I was, but I feel I am in great hands with Meggan, Danielle, and Corey! Thanks guys!

Taylor Allmann: Super good environment and great people

Honey Reyes: To be honest, I was terrified because of the very divided reviews online. It was either really great or really bad for the most part.My experience was really great! Danielle was a wonderful teacher and had a really fun vibe, especially for beginners. She definitely made a fan out of me – I really didn’t think I was going to enjoy pole but I wanted to try something new. After just one class I really want to be a regular and I hope to condition myself to improve soon. Thanks so much Danielle!

Eva Liu: The class is interesting and the people here are nice.

Marquis Green: Friendly and welcoming staff, fun classes, and complete judgment free zone. Any guy looking for an alternative to their usual workout routine will be in for a good time.

Sammy: Big clean studio space and wonderful instructor's.

Vanessa Karubian Saxe: We LOVE 8 Count! Not only are the teachers so knowledgeable and talented in teaching dance, but the whole studio cultivates and culture of girls supporting other girls. 5 stars!

bella: best dance studio 😍😍

Renee Clayton: This place is so NOT pretentious, everyone including the staff, teachers and even fellow dancers are completely welcoming and friendly.Zumba with Wil is great, he really makes you work the entire hour class and somehow it's still fun. It is a great way to start my Sunday and the class is always full of enthusiastic regulars and eager to learn newbies.

mya wiser: 8 Count helped me become the person i am today and i am beyond grateful for what they have taught me. It’s a family and you always feel welcomed!

Wander Lustyyy: really nice people

Maya Angel: 8 Count Dance Academy has gone above and beyond to make me into a strong and well-rounded dancer. All teachers are positive and fun, yet strict and hardworking to make the dancers the best they can be. Everybody at 8 count has formed a strong bond and "sister-like" friendship. 8 Count is my second home and I could not imagine my life without it!

Noah Marger: Great staff and great vibes. Thank you brickyard!

John Wilkes: Great place, great crowd, great bartenders, great tables. This was one of the first places that opened up after the lockdowns, so I'm so grateful to Brickyard for giving me a place to do what I loveI've never had food there, but I'm giving them five stars anyway, bc they're that awesome

Darise Rodriguez: Pool here was such an event, so fun. Micheal the bar tender and manager, was amazing, so helpful and incredibly nice! However, the music was odd, it was good music but I couldn't make any requests or recommendations, anything about the music was a non negotiable, which was Strange in my opinion. Other than that, it was very fun. A lot of drink options.

Tom Downey: My daughter had lead night there for pool. And we had a really good time. Cable to not too expensive all 9 footers all old-school Brunswick. My daughter and I had a good time.Wheelchair accessibility: The pool halls upstairs but they have a elevator. Very accessible

Public School 213: what do users think?

Manager Tajé: 食物很好吃!我們吃了牛排、雞蛋、法式三明治、松露薯條和半杯無底含羞草。這意味著每人照片中可以得到兩瓶這樣的瓶子。對我們來說很好。嗯!

Daniel Varona:

Tiffany De tomi: 非常好的餐廳👍

Mario Dos Campollo: A cool American gastro pub in downtown Los Angeles. A great spot to catch up with some old friends especially when you just get off the plane. They have a pretty good beer selection and I also enjoyed the public school decor. Good stuff especially for L.A.. Unfortunately I didn’t get to the food but the service was friendly enough for me to want to come back. All in all a good time.

Megan Savage: Delicious food and best mimosa deal downtown! Definitely get the bacon cheddar tots, and the beer cheese burger! Ham and cheese empanadas are like an elevated hot pocket and I can’t recommend them enough!

Oksanna Kasoyan: Their PB&J burger was one of the best burgers I’ve had. So delicious and worth all the calories.

Rebecca Thomas: I stopped in here while visiting from out of town but if I lived or worked nearby this is exactly the kind of place where I'd be a regular. It has a great vibe, great happy hour deals, great food, and a friendly staff!

Gene Richards: Great food!

Jerard Wright: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes Delivery: No Curbside pickup: No

Andrea Vega: Brickyard is great! Affordable and fun. Divided into two sections. The 1st section is the bar area, with seating, and some wall games like darts 🎯 and shuffleboard. 2nd part is where the pool tables are 🎱 some more seating and the restrooms. That's one downfall of this place. The restrooms tend to be really stinky and the smell lingers throughout the room specially if you get stuck with a pool table closest to the restroom. All in all though, it's like $6 an hour to play and the beer selection is vast. No mixed drinks. And they don't sell food. They usually offer $2 shots with every drink you buy. The shots are fruity but potent!Place opens at 5pm.Happy Hour everyday 5pm-9pm buy 2 drinks, get 1 free

STEEZY Studio - Online Dance Classes: what do users think?

lambele: The classes are great! The instructors break down/explain the movements very clearly and there are so many classes/programs on their website. The website provides really helpful functionalities like looping any part of the video, speed up or down the video and view the video from the front or the back. I've been to in person studios before and I like steezy better because of the convenience, privacy, self-controlled pacing and the variety of classes.

Emily Yaeger: Just brilliant. Amazing dancers, choreography, just wow. So nice to be able to take classes during the pandemic too. Fantastic guys.

Bigg Britt: Update : So I left a bad review on STEEZY studios 6 days ago. I’m re writing my review because I didn’t make sure all my ducks were in a row before I went on a rampage. STEEZY actually contacted me and responded with a 3 month free credit and my account hasn’t been canceled I just been using the wrong email address. I apologize for the misunderstanding and hopes STEEZY can work out all their other kinks because it’s a good app.

Christina Grace: I'm 41. My WHOLE LIFE I've wanted to dance but due to where i live and other busy stuff i havent been able to. But this is AMAZING!! I can go at my own pace, choose what style i want to learn, what level I'm at, length of classes, etc. It's really an endless supply of choices. And it makes me feel super cool. I AM way cool but now even more so! LOL. Also its a great workout without being a lame workout video. I'm just thrilled and the price is ridiculously affordable and so worth it. Thank you Steezy for allowing me cross something iff my bucket list.

Paul Szymanski: This is not a physical dance studio you can attend, but an extensive digital platform for learning dance. Has online classes for every skill level.
