Anastasia Fenald: One of my double piercings on my earlobe closed unexpectedly the other day when I was trying to put in my earrings and go to work. I wanted to get it redone ASAP. I sent an email and was able to go the same day after work.Alex was very professional and even checked to make sure that the piercing was actually closed from the back despite the front part seeming normal. It was :( but! It was quick and mostly painless. I was there for a max of like 15 mins and I was out the door.If I want to get another piercing, I would definitely come back!

Ori Brown: I was looking for a place to get my septum pierced and to get another tattoo and found Tattoo Love and their $50 piercing on Tuesdays deal and made my plans! The owner, George, was very kind, helpful, and he worked with me and my budget for the tattoo. Brian, the artist and piercer was also very nice and professional. The spike fell of the jewelry the day I got the piercing, but I called the shop and they as able to get a new spike put on with no fuss. I’m very happy with the piercing, the tattoo, and my experience!

He had multiple challenges - a bit of cover up, my quite delicate skin and coming up with a design that would mesh with previous tats while taking the artwork in a fresh direction. I brought in a lot of concept images & ideas and we talked about what to do… he first did a rough sketch on my forearm and wrist and then began to work.Working completely freehand, he created a graceful, detailed, and shaded spectacular Japanese-influenced chrysanthemum. The funny thing is had I chosen a flower variety I probably would have started out with a peony, but after discussing with him, turns out it was the perfect image for the area. It’s just gorgeous, and I can wait til it heals. He is an artist. Cat had such a great personality and took great care changing the piercing that I decided she was who I would have pierce my nose a few months later. Just got my nose pierced and she did a wonderful job, it barely hurt and she made sure that everything was super clean. She was also really patient and helpful while I decided on my jewelry.

Rachel Menard: Rabble Rouser is a very cool and clean tattoo shop near Venice beach with a stable of amazing artists and so much interesting decor on the walls, it's easy to get distracted while you're getting inked, looking for all the hidden art gems.I recently got a tattoo from Alayna and gave her the direction of, "A kitten, but make it cute and angry." She did not disappoint. When I showed up for my appointment, she was ready with a page full of designs that were all so perfect, I had trouble deciding. Honestly, I would have gotten them all if I could have.I eventually chose one, and in less than an hour, she had it on my skin with perfect color and shading while chatting the entire time. To me that's the mark of a true professional, someone who is such an expert in their field, they can just do it on instinct.I am absolutely DELIGHTED with my tattoo and will definitely be back for another one next time I'm in the LA area. Just beware that her appointments fill up quickly because she is in such high demand, so book early!

Its a clean and professional space. You are well taken care of. Individually the artists create amazing work, but Adam is my got to. His art and tattoos speak for themself. His work is consistent in clean lines and beautiful shading yet he’s always coming up with new and different designs. Definitely a shop you want to go to.

Lou Breininger: Highly recommend! The shop is friendly, professional, and laid back. Camille at Dark Horse is the best! She's done a lot of my tattoos and collaborating with her on new ideas is really fun. Her flash is pretty rad too. All her work is detailed and inventive. She always nails the placements - I feel like my tattoos really move with my body. She has a really soft touch, so if you are getting your first tattoo or are very pain sensitive I would highly recommend her.

Angel, one of the owners, was SUPER kind, patient, explained every step, let us pester him with questions, told us to call or come in with any questions or concerns. Victoria Herrin: Walked in for a tattoo on a Friday night. We gave Erik our idea for our tattoos and stated we were open to different font ideas. Erik pulled up different fonts and allowed us to sort through them until we found what we wanted and then determined the size. I am indecisive and he was very patient while I picked out my final product. The customer information was easy and transparent to complete and I appreciated that it was online and not paper. While we were the only ones in there at the time, Erik really took the time to make sure we were comfortable in his section and even picked out a movie for us to watch while we was working on our tattoos. My mom and I had very small tattoos but Erik was very thorough and attentive to the placement and line work of our tattoos. They even had other guests waiting to be seen for a tattoo just before he started on mine and this didn’t rush or phase Erik and he still took the time and care to make sure it was of high quality. I really appreciated this time and effort he and his other staff took to make sure we were comfortable and welcomed throughout our time there. I was visiting from SD and I enjoyed my experience so much that I honestly would be willing to make a trip up to LA for any other tattoo needs.A shout out to his brother, the piercer, and the girl with the glasses, I didn’t catch their names but they also took their time to make us feel welcomed and brought a great energy to the place.

I was able to schedule an appointment for myself and my sister for two smaller tattoos with Art and I was beyond impressed with his talent. His fine point was meticulous, quick, and included way more detail than I would've thought possible for a small tattoo. Very well done, very clean, and probably the most friendly and efficient place I've been to. Will definitely be going back for more work with Art!

He was even so kind to offer me the fix for free but I encourage you to give the man a tip anyways. Don’t take advantage of their kindness at the shop as they are all very reasonable, outstanding professional individuals. I look forward to getting some tats by them.
