s brown: Thank you for my online order! Perfectly wrapped and arrived fast!

Chris G: It’s a dangerous store to visit because you will end up finding lots of good kinds of stuff. They also offer trade-in and all you need is a passport and the pieces you want to recycle, it took me 4hrs to get my clothes to look at.it was a 10/10 shopping experience.

Jason Janbahan: Full amazing products if visiting Melrose you must stop and check it out.. A+

Buffalo Exchange: what do users think?

Pablo Sanchez: I love the manager and the staff, they are super warm and welcoming, can’t wait to come back again and shop + sell!!! Love you Buffalo 😋

liberty koppelmann: Buffalo exchange is my other go to place to shop ! They have sales discounts and 50 % tag prices too. Staff is always helpful. There was a salesperson, John, who was such a doll ! So helpful and just pleasant to deal with. I have found amazing items there.

Coco LaDue: This is by farrrr the best thrift store around !!! A+

Michelle: Great customer service and selection. Thank you for taking care of my transaction so quickly!

Carly Miller: , they pay well, have nice brands, the folks I had were friendly and good clothes meaning not stained ect

Ethan Grabel: I had a great time finding used clothing here! Lots of options available and great customer service for finding certain styles and good fits. Most of the reviews I read are for people getting little money from selling their clothes. I sold some clothes and got what I expected to get for selling used clothing to a used clothing store. I highly recommend talking to the staff as they know what they are doing.

L.A. ROAD Thrift Store: what do users think?

William Canady: One of the best thrift store experiences.once you go....you will return again...

Mistery Bugante: Update: some of their stuff is gairly priced, some isn't.But I still shop there so I'm upping my rating.I used to love L.A. Road. I'm disappointed that it was bought out by a for profit business.Edit: I think that the store should either pay people for the "donations" or lower the prices. Right now it feels like they are taking advantage of everyone.

Mitch Weissman: AWESOME FINDS!! .STAFF IS VERY WELCOMING!!......ERICA WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND ‼️....HIGHLY RECOMMEND ‼️

Wasteland: what do users think?

Rebel Torres: Used to shop here for vintage clothes but now days its hard to find it here.

Robin Epstein: Amazing selection of high quality second hand clothing

Brandin Shaeffer: Yes some pieces are a bit overpriced but then again they just charging what the market will bear 🤷‍♀️Regardless i always find a couple things that i love which are well priced. And I'd rather pay for a unique item that was better made in the 90's than some cheap fast fashion that will not last.

MilkKefir: Wasteland is a nice store. It is very tidy. There are two entrances, one for customers selling their previously loved attire, and the other for shoppers looking for a new look. 🎽👗👘👚🧥

Society of St. Vincent de Paul Los Angeles Thrift Store: what do users think?

jackie capp: First time going there- Employees are SUPER friendly and helpful. It was a very fun experience and will be back!

OMAR A. MUHAMMAD, TH.M: The Society of St. Vincent de Paul claims it is the largest thrift store in Los Angeles, which certainly seems true. Upon entering, it feels like an indoor swap meets market. The store offers a great variety of items for purchase, ranging from washing machines to automobiles and from large house furnishings to kitchenware and small appliances. While I found the prices fair, they were too high for my budget. Nonetheless, there is something at this thrift store for everyone. I plan to return when I have more time and money to explore further.

Uglyracer Gaming: If you are a retro gamer please come to this store!I got a ps2 for 55 usd and it works thx Saint Vincent and thanks grandma! ❤️

Alfredo Placido: Alot of clothes

Pablo PAITÁN AYUQUE: Complete happiness because I found everything I needed. The staff helps guides and suggests very kindly. The Caja employees speak Spanish, and they gladly accept coupons to enjoy discounts.Spacious, tidy, clean place with large windows.Attention is from 9 a.m.They give away bags according to the size of the product.IMPORTANT!Look for products with an orange label that cost half the price.

castillodelmuro: Clean and found a few good deals. Street Parking only, no problem whatsoever.

Lety Pina: To be fair, what I bought was fine but I wanted to change something. They didn't measure it. Yes, they told me the time.

E Lizete Ramirez: Friendly staff when I dropped off donations and the location is clean and organized. The downside is. That there is no parking you have to find street parking which is limited.

Aaron Kim: Salivating

Record Surplus: what do users think?

Steffanie Cohen: So glad I went in here today! Staff was great, especially Chris, who sorted through a couple of big boxes of albums I brought in to sell. I feel like I got paid a fair price and he was nice enough to help me carry them from my car. Highly recommend if you’re looking to sell vinyl!

evan: Friendly attentive staff and a great mix of records and genres.

Gabriel Craft: Excellent independent record store est. 1985Undoubtedly, many of your favorite musicians have visited this place. In particular, Records Surplus is a must visit location for any hardcore weezer fan.🤘🤓🤘=w=Rivers Cuomo: For “In the Garage,” I definitely had the Beach Boys and “In My Room” in mind. At one point while I was writing, I wanted some new inspiration, so I went to Record Surplus on Santa Monica and went through all these classic LPs. I narrowed it down to “Led Zeppelin II” and the Beach Boys’ “Pet Sounds,” but I only had enough money for one. It was basically a coin toss, and I walked out with “Pet Sounds.” Then I went on a deep dive and got all their other albums. It’s funny that Weezer could’ve gone in a totally different direction.— Los Angeles TimesMikael WoodMarch 25th 2024

NRC “NOTHING REALLY COMPARES” 78: Nothing Really Compares to record surplus

Michael: Top spot for new releases

Tom Tobin: This store has some unique and rare music and collectibles. Decent prices and big selection.

Jack Loh: Very nice selection of new and used vinyls, CDs and assorted vintage audio goods.

victor osaka: Thousands of albums

Jocelyn Wang: Staff is nice and this place has incredible selections of records! I attempted to shop for classical music today and I walked out with 2 vinyls and 2 CDs for $11 which was a decent haul. They offer genres of all kinds for vinyls at good prices. I don’t think anything saw was usually over 30 something bucks. Definitely in demand commercial or popular collectibles were around that price range. But this is a nice place to get affordable records! They also offer a bin/attic area where u can browse for so many records for a $1. I got myself a DuPre CD and a Yehudi CD there!

Jorge Moraga-Bernier: Huge collection of music. Def worth a visit!

Ria Antony: Such a good collection. Good to have a record store nearby. The records are clean and taken care of and the staff is also helpful.

Len White: Very OG. Makes me wanna finally get a turntable. Great peeps.

Carlo Cocirio: Good record store where you can also find some rarities

Josh O'Brien: This store has a lot of great vinyl. Plus it's cool that it's labeled new or as is, etc. That is pretty awesome because the staff is not really that personable at all.

Can find spots across the street.PRO’s : Great other stores on this street : Nail places, juice crafters, toppings and other.I now only stop when on the way to/from somewhere. The ReCYCLIST Bike Shop for Used Bikes Sales, Tune Ups, Bicycle Rentals: what do users think?

Adam Friedman: Top notch selection and expertise. Thank you to Jim and his team for setting me up with an amazing bike. I recommend The Recyclist to anyone who is looking for ANY type of bike. Exceptional service, I will never go anywhere again.

Jane Skerritt: Very friendly, informative and thoughtful owner. He explained and showed me things about a bike that had never occurred to me. I bought the perfect, prettiest, fun bike from him! Highly recommend for customer service, prices and knowledge.

Jorge gol: Great little local bike spot. Hooked meup with a bike and a lock to boot.

Barrett Brown: Loved coming to ReCYCLIST, Jim was so helpful getting us setup with 2 beautiful bikes. Straight shooter and super knowledgeable!

Josh Levi Rodgers: Jim was fantastic, walked away with 2 lovely bikes. He knows his stuff, straight talker.

Scott Griffin: The ReCyclist, the bike shop that's worth the stop 🚴‍♂️🛒This place is like a treasure trove of two-wheeled wonders. Unlike those big box stores with half-empty shelves, The Rear Cyclist is bursting at the seams with all sorts of bikes. They've got everything - from sleek, futuristic models to those charming classics that'll make you nostalgic for your childhood. It's like a trip down memory lane, only faster and with more gears! But here's the kicker – the owner has a sense of humor drier than the Sahara Desert. You walk in expecting a typical bike shopping experience, and suddenly you find yourself chuckling at the unexpected wit of the shopkeeper. If you appreciate a good pun or a clever quip while browsing for a bike, you've come to the right place. Now, let's talk about the owner's secret weapon – negotiation skills. As I strolled through the door, he was locked in a fierce pricing battle with a gentleman. It was like a high-stakes game of bike bargain showdown. I had only come in for a simple lock, but I was ready for some haggling action! And when it came to locks, they had a splendid selection. The owner was as helpful as a GPS in a maze, guiding me to the perfect lock for my needs. So, if you're looking for a bike shop with a sense of humor, a knack for negotiation, and a lock for every purpose, look no further. I can't recommend The Rear Cyclist enough – it's a wheely great experience! 🚴‍♀️🔒😄

Magda Perez: Excellent service, they explain very clearly, they give you options, they don't pressure you at all, and the kindness is 100%.

Babak Missaghian: Very friendly

Fern Lim: Fernando was so fun and friendly and had my flat fixed in less than 15 minutes, all while chatting jovially with me! My bicycle and I appreciate you, Fernando!

Windi Craudia: Went here for a tuneup as I decided to sell my bike. They went above and beyond. Needed a new rim and a couple adjustments. They cleaned the bike up- great place and pricing.

Jafei Pollitt: Really loved this spot- I wasn’t pushed into buying anything I didn’t want and got to test two bikes in the back. Decided on a Giant bike for a decent price and Jim was so helpful and nice! Will definitely be recommending this place to others and coming in for any maintenance needs!

Ronald McCormick: I've had mixed experiences here, but overall good local shop.

Tonia Brock-Petroshius: Wonderful service and patient experienced staff

Bleu Sanders: Great place to score your latest two wheels...good staff .

dominique “Dmneek” rousseau: This place is the best! There is always someone walking through the door with an unusual request or need. Sure, there are people like me who come here for a bike because there’s was recently stollen, but this place is so much more. You’ll have to come out and check it out. I bet, you’ll be writing your own review once you do. Oh, and ask for Jim. He will listen to what you need and match it in real time, “with a wink and a smile.” He’s amazingly patient and it’s really refreshing to feel like you are working with someone who genuinely cares.

Ren Choroser: . Enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend. Other gentleman working on bikes in back was also very friendly on our way through shop.

American Cancer Society Discovery Shop - West Los Angeles, CA: what do users think?

Amy Y: Hidden gem of a thrift shop. Great values, helpful staff. Parking can be tough--but it's worth it!

Jeanette West: I had a wonderful time yesterday 02/26/24 shopping at the Discovery Shop on Overland. All the staff is s nice & helpful. Everything is top quality. I found so many bargains on clothes shoes, etc plus I got 75% & 25% off so I paid very little for most of my items plus I had a $10 coupon which you can earn. Thank you ladies. This made my day!!!

Anna England: Super happy to have discovered America has charity stores! Or as they call them out here - thrift shops. A good selection of clothes but sadly nothing to fit this time. Lovely chap working there too.

Daniela: I’ve gone a few times with no expectations, and always left with at least one item. Great store and really amazing workers/volunteers.

Daiva S.: This is a wonderful little store with constantly changing creative and beautiful boutique like displays. I go by there almost weekly and constantly find nice things at reasonable prices. The staff and volunteers are always willing to help find a treasure. It is worth to make a stop there.

Brian O'Farrell: Lovely staff. Thank you for your great work.

Elizabeth Guevara: Cute little store.Donate and find little treasures.

Julie Lopez: Great team of volunteers! Store Is well organized, clean and there is no funky old clothes smell at all! Brand names and high quality clothes and goods are what you’ll find here. I like that they sort items by color and that the racks are full, but very manageable.Parking is limited, but found some great deals today with the 50% off sale!

Cynthia K: Nice people and prices... It feels good to support that cause

Daniel Will-Harris: The Discovery shops are among the best thrift / resale shops in the area. The quality is high and while the prices aren't rock bottom they're great values considering the merchandise usually looks like new.

Tonya Tartour: Beautiful and tiny second hand shop. They have low price items but in good conditions always. They have really arty pieces and design objects.Sofa 90§Table with 4 chairs and 2 armchairs 110$

Sam Ash Music Stores: what do users think?

rene Sotelo Cortes: Very good in every sense of the word, I have been shopping at Sam Ash for 30 years and I congratulate them for their kindness and attention

Ryan Purcell: Great experience with the team in their Hollywood location. Talked to them on the phone, they said they’d call back with more info, and THEY DID! They’ve earned my business with their personal touch.

Wingspan Media: WingSpan Media has chosen Sam Ash as our go to place for all our audio needs. Wether it's getting help ordering a special part through their guitar tech Sal or the finding the right gear for our needs through Steve, it comes down to the professionalism of the staff at the West Hollywood store that has won us over as committed customers. Thanks Guys!

Brahm Genzlinger: I had a great experience here buying an acoustic guitar as a gift for a beginner. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect guitar that would be easy to play, smaller in size, stay in tune and sound good. He really listened to what different things I was looking for, and had the knowledge and care to recommend the perfect thing. He even steered me in a better direction than I was originally thinking without ever being pushy in the least. I highly recommend talking to Mark Chulick at this location.

Arafat Hossain Shuvo: Bought my first saxophone. Great experience. Marvin was awesome
