Helping Hand Thrift Shop: what do users think?

524 FLINDERS: The most amazing range of watches, jewellery, type and earrings. Definitely an amazing spot for thrifting 👌

Himanshu Gupta: Many antique items available in the shop. Reasonable price. It's not a museum. Shop closed every Saturday.I didn't buy anything but had a positive/good conversation with the shop owner Solman. A soft spoken person we talked about his first India visit and stay at Taj Hotel Bombay.

Othman Hafdi: This is an LA hidden gem, you can find some very interesting vintage items, from a 1920s 18mm projector, to silver or gold vintage jewelry, there is something for everyone, and the prices are fair for what you get. And do add to it the lady that works there is just lovely, great spirits which are not very common at thrift shops.

Jack Jamsakian: The best shopping experience I had in LA

Clauzelle Fredeling: Treasures Period.....That's all I have to say ❤️

Connor Sandefer: This place was great and awesome staff! Great deals and willing to negotiate.

Rachel Judy: most definitely worth the stop!!

Max Varenyk: Great thrift store with lots of choices! Perfect to look for interesting and unique outfits for photoshoots!

Kristin Major: Absolutely love this shop! Great deals and unique pieces!

MZ: Love stopping by for one of a kind pieces!

Elizabeth S Contreras: Cute and fun assortment of vintage jewelry, accessories, clothing, and home decor. If i weren’t from out of state, I’d definitely have taken home some furniture too!!

Humza Syed: is so helpful and has the best stuff for sell. Clothes, antiques, vinyl records, hats, everything! I’ve become a regular here and I honestly n don’t think I’ll stop shopping at this spot.

Bobby Reed: . Moji has wonderful pieces and lots of 'em. I picked up some stunning table linens last Sunday. Highly recommended, but bring time and money and lots of both; thousands of items. The cufflinks alone took an hour to browse! Fun.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul Los Angeles Thrift Store: what do users think?

jackie capp: First time going there- Employees are SUPER friendly and helpful. It was a very fun experience and will be back!

OMAR A. MUHAMMAD, TH.M: The Society of St. Vincent de Paul claims it is the largest thrift store in Los Angeles, which certainly seems true. Upon entering, it feels like an indoor swap meets market. The store offers a great variety of items for purchase, ranging from washing machines to automobiles and from large house furnishings to kitchenware and small appliances. While I found the prices fair, they were too high for my budget. Nonetheless, there is something at this thrift store for everyone. I plan to return when I have more time and money to explore further.

Uglyracer Gaming: If you are a retro gamer please come to this store!I got a ps2 for 55 usd and it works thx Saint Vincent and thanks grandma! ❤️

Alfredo Placido: Alot of clothes

Pepe's Thrift Shop: what do users think?

Carl: Loved the selection and staff didn’t rush me in my choices

Juan Aguilar: Awesome small thrift shop. Great deals for beautiful antiques, dishes, appliances, and whole lot more of second hand items and collectibles. Employees were kind and chill and lent a hand when we needed help.Luis, the Owner of the shop helped my family out. We were looking for a hospital bed for my immobile sister and he actually had one. We told him how she became disabled, and how we had been struggling to look for a hospital bed. Luis had sympathy for us and actually offered the bed for free. Initially we denied and tried to compromise for such a resourceful item but he insisted. He told us that if we truly needed it to take it. At that point we didn't hesitate to agree. He willingly put his intent to profit to the side, and for this we could not be any more grateful. Thank you, Luis.

Antonia Donato: amazing secret in LA! happy with my experience

Jong: OKAY

Robyn Harris: Amazing experience

Lorena Vargas: I have been buying things for my house in this place for years, the attention is excellent, Don Luis is very friendly and gives reasonable prices and what I like most is everything is very clean

A regular channel: They sell useful things

Michael Nguyen: Super friendly service here and crazy low prices. The selection is varied but you can find some gems here. I got a minimal solid metal coffee table which showed a beautiful finish after cleaning for under forty bucks. Cards are accepted. Use your imagination while walking around!

Matti: Bought a bunch of props here... Super clean and like new.

para wow: Wrong business the one I'm looking for is on 1st street. Thanks for the correction.

Frederick Johnson: Love it 😃‼️

Daniel Navarrete: Shockingly great finds on furniture. Found a cool metal frame bed and they sell new mattress with it. Super cheap and bed is sturdy. Guess what else. They delivered it to me about 6 miles for a super reasonable fee and put it together for me. At least go check them out you might get lucky during your trip cus things do move

Children Charities Resale Store: what do users think?

Samantha Shirazi: Excellent store filled to the brim with books, lamps, couches, art, rugs, etc. Prices are fair for the quality of the items. Nothing is “cheap” but I felt I paid a fair price for the items I purchased. Kass was awesome!

Jewel Lim: Antiques, now if your looking for some antiques this is the place! They have so much nice vintage and classical things its soninteresting too see. The owner is so knowledgeable about the stuff in his store its almost like story telling. I could get lost in here!

eriko p: .The upstairs is currently closed on this visit, but previously, the upstairs attic was jammed packed with tons of treasures. Hopefully in the future the upstairs will reopen.Masks required at this time.

Pamela Foard: Fascinating store with a great collection of books and interesting period furniture choices.

shannon barnaj: Most amazing place with such good selections for a reasonable price!! Owner is so nice!!

Ziva Kohan: Great place! Really recommend it!

Yael Wiener: The owner of the store is so nice! I didn’t feel I was being pushed into making a purchase, which I really liked. The store has so many nice things I wish I could put it all in my home. I highly recommend this store!!

David Bamber: 18 months ago I made the move from London, England to Los Angeles. I packed up my home in the UK to start a new life in California. After finding a great apartment it was down to the somewhat intimidating but exciting exercise to furnish my new home. I have always enjoyed treasure hunting, restoration and breathing new life into something somebody else no longer cares for. So I set about scouring all the charity stores in LA.I stumbled on Children Charities Resale Store purely by accident. An Aladdin's Cave run by 3 terrific gentlemen , all of whom have a good eye for quality and craftsmanship.Over the past year I made monthly, if not weekly trips to see what I missed the previous visit, and what new things had turned up.Displayed over 2 enormous floors, you can find enough wonderful things to furnish a palace. I told the "gentlemen" if they were going to tempt me with more things they would need to start looking for a new apartment for me.Kass, Pedram and Errol have a real talent for display and you will find things laid out by country, genre, and period with interesting mixes of all of the above. Everything is fairly priced. As I am sure you have concluded I have successfully and satisfactoraliy furnished my new LA home with everything from light fixtures, carpets, furniture, books and object d'art.I have very little space left but can not resist making regular trips to visit my friends at Children Charities to see what recent treasures they have found. If you love treasure hunting like I do Children Charities is a must! ENJOY.

Bridge Thrift: what do users think?

William Canady: One of the best thrift store experiences.once you go....you will return again...

Mistery Bugante: Update: some of their stuff is gairly priced, some isn't.But I still shop there so I'm upping my rating.I used to love L.A. Road. I'm disappointed that it was bought out by a for profit business.Edit: I think that the store should either pay people for the "donations" or lower the prices. Right now it feels like they are taking advantage of everyone.

Mitch Weissman: AWESOME FINDS!! .STAFF IS VERY WELCOMING!!......ERICA WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND ‼️....HIGHLY RECOMMEND ‼️

Buffalo Exchange: what do users think?

Pablo Sanchez: I love the manager and the staff, they are super warm and welcoming, can’t wait to come back again and shop + sell!!! Love you Buffalo 😋

liberty koppelmann: Buffalo exchange is my other go to place to shop ! They have sales discounts and 50 % tag prices too. Staff is always helpful. There was a salesperson, John, who was such a doll ! So helpful and just pleasant to deal with. I have found amazing items there.

Coco LaDue: This is by farrrr the best thrift store around !!! A+

Michelle: Great customer service and selection. Thank you for taking care of my transaction so quickly!

Carly Miller: , they pay well, have nice brands, the folks I had were friendly and good clothes meaning not stained ect

Ethan Grabel: I had a great time finding used clothing here! Lots of options available and great customer service for finding certain styles and good fits. Most of the reviews I read are for people getting little money from selling their clothes. I sold some clothes and got what I expected to get for selling used clothing to a used clothing store. I highly recommend talking to the staff as they know what they are doing.

Crossroads Trading: what do users think?

Alyssa Rabie: The absolute best staff ever!! I lost my keys and would not have found them without the help of the incredible team. They helped me look everywhere and even brought up security footage to assist. Best customer service I have ever received, definitely making this my staple Crossroads.

T S: This place is great, and there's parking in the back! I've been here a handful of times now. I have sold some stuff with them, it was fine. Of course they don't take everything, regardless if it's still got tags or is designer or whatever... they CURATE based on what they know will sell. That's why I like shopping here, I know I have a good chance of finding something cool, fast. There's a security guard, the place is clean and organized. I've only had nice interactions with the staff through the years. I've found some great things!! I appreciate it!

Dee: Security as well as employees were upbeat and helpful.

Lucas_the_abstract: Great store. Love the theme of buy, sell, trade. The majority of the staff is great also, very nice. I've been coming here for years and I tell my friends about it.

Chloe Fre: Super cute collection of clothes, a lot of nice brands and colorful selections. Prices are consignment prices but the curation of quality pieces is worth it in my opinion. Will be back!

AudioVision: I LOVE THIS STORE BUT OOOOH I AM SO DISAPPOINTED THAT THIS SHIRT WAS TOO SMALL!!! UGH and these pan shoes!!! I wanted both so badly, and they're at a good price!Super neat store, good prices, good selection, would definitely be a regular stop if I lived in the area.GONNA BE THINKIN ABOUT THAT SHIRT FOR WEEKS! GRRR! LOVE IT!

Rodolfo Ascencio: First time visiting this place, perfect for your shopping

The Council Shop: what do users think?

Helen Xu: Good size, unique pieces and decent pricing for the most part. The employees should be given credit for handling customers lol

Javier Gonzalez: Not the same anymore

Lastat: 💯💯💯💯💯

Phyllis Mena: I came here visiting family and decided to come in and shop! I found some cute things all under 20 dollars. It’s small but mighty and has some very nice things. I wish I had more time or else I would have stayed longer.I want to say “Ricardo” was very nice and hard working trying to get the lines down and customers through a busy Saturday afternoon. He packaged my glass items gently and perfectly inside the bag for my long drive home. The rest of staff is very helpful and friendly and helped elderly lady take heavy items to her vehicle. I found great things and will return back again when I have more time. There is something there for everybody! I give this place 10 stars if I could! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩✨⭐️💫🌟

Chris Chambers: I do a lot of thrift shopping throughout Los Angeles, and the country. The Counsel Thrift Store on Santa Monica and Veteran is one of my favorites!! From high end to low end clothing, art, jewelry, ceramics, and more.

Reza Laleh: High-quality merchandise and incredible prices.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Marty Cheney: Its good

R R: Nice place with professional staff and very well-organized. Plus the $ goes towards charity!

Deborah McMahon: Nice stuff! Nice people Great prices!

Deseret Industries Thrift Store & Donation Center: what do users think?

Freedom ForEvar: Love this 2nd hand shop. Best in LA

Enoc Jiménez: It is the best place, I have not known any better than this store, in the others they serve you reluctantly, very affordable prices...I highly recommend it..

Mary Mojica: . Top floor is all clothing and accessories. Bottom floor is furniture, housewares, etc. Top floor is organized, everything price tagged. Mostly clothes from the late 80s, 90's+. Found lots of 50s vintage treasures here including handbags and dresses. I regularly donate plus size fashion, lots of plus size jeans and pinup finds. Definitely worth a visit. Donation hours are m-f 8am-3pm, Saturday donations can be taken to the green gate on side from 10-5.

Daniel Stevens: I really like this thrift store. I have been there twice now, about 6 months apart, and have had a great experience each time. As mentioned there are 2 levels, clothing upstairs and household stuff downstairs. The staff are really nice. I mainly go for clothes, but was eyeballing some furniture today, which they had a decent amount. The clothing sizes have been kept in order on the racks for the most part, making it easy to find my size. I have found great stuff each time I have gone, from a nice rain coat, dirt cheap, to a very nice complete dress suit setup and a couple of tshirts for dirt cheap.I'm not sure what the people with negative reviews are expecting. This is a thrift store after all, not Santa Monica Place or Fig At 7Th. But you are going to have issues with people every now and then wherever you go.

Ana Linares: Love coming here good clothes and home things at a very affordable price!!

Rachel Aguilar: Great prices and a lot of little trinkets at this location. They have a big variety of things like vases, linens, electronics, frames, arts/crafts, games, stuffed animals and collectibles!

Kim Shaw: Love this place BUT THEY OPEN AT TEN not nine 😒

Odette Noriega: I went yesterday for the first time. It was a really quick shopping but I am planning to go back. I love it it looks so nice, chip, organize and smell really good it’s 45 minutes away but so worth it. Vale la pena visitar la tienda esta muy organizado, barato, huele rico y muy surtida.

van cooper: Love this store travel 22 miles just to shop there awesome selection of clothes and prices are super cheap!!!

Tori Doublecup: Great prices, clean, organized, & workers are nice! They have a pretty large selection of women's clothing, and also have mens & kids. Downstairs they have a bunch of home goods and collectibles.
